Reverend Keundra T. Cobb

Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall."

 Psalm 55:22

With God lifting her to excel in all that she does, Rev. Keundra Cobb was born and raised in Columbus, GA, where she was a student in the Muscogee County school district and graduate of Jordan Vocational High School. As a child, Keundra grew up as a member of Great Hope AME Church in Midway, AL. It is there that she started her relationship with Christ and was baptized at a young age. As an adult, she felt compelled to strengthen her relationship with God by becoming an active and devoted member of Greater Ward Chapel A.M.E Church in March of 2014. It was at Greater Ward Chapel where Rev. Keundra Cobb answered her call to preach in 2014 and began her journey in ministry.

After attending her Trial Sermon worship service, the Presiding Elder of the Central District, the Reverend Isaiah Waddy, licensed Rev. Keundra on October 12th, 2014. As a licentiate, she immediately started her journey to spread God’s Word to others. With her love for children being a driving force, Rev. Keundra was appointed Youth Pastor of Greater Ward Chapel helping children and assisting in Adventure Island Children’s Ministry, IMPACT Young Adult Ministry and YPD Ministries, as well as the former Cub Scout Master for Greater Ward’s Cub Scout Troop Pack 11-1.

She graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2019 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Management. She will be starting Turner Theological Seminary in Fall of 2019 in pursuit of her Master of Divinity.

Described as someone always willing to help, Rev. Keundra currently works for the Department of Family and Children Services as an Economic Support Specialist where she can help families with achieving independence and becoming self-sufficient all across Georgia since November 2013. Rev. Keundra became ordained an Itinerant Deacon in the African Methodist Episcopal Church by the Right Reverend Bishop Reginald T. Jackson and was then appointed pastor of Payne Chapel AME Church in Cuthbert, GA.
